Joanna is studying a Master of Research in Creative Arts. Her inspiration for writing comes from peeling back the veneer people present to the rest of society in their quest to belong. Joanna interacts with teenagers and their families every day, and that presented her with a myriad of situations that she felt deserved closer examination. Joanna loves writing stories people can relate to; either because they have had a similar experience, or because they were interested in how others coped in unusual situations.
